HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 4 -- High Point University issued the following news release:
Dr. Richard Parker, associate professor of business in the Plato S. Wilson Family School of Commerce at High Point University, recently was named the president of the Southern Association for Canadian Studies.
Parker was elected as vice president in 2006, and after a two-year term, he assumed the presidency. He will serve in the position until October 2010.
