YONKERS, N.Y., Jan. 7 -- The city of Yonkers issued the following press release:
The following is an official statement by Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone in reaction to Governor David Paterson's 2009 State of the State Address. Mayor Amicone was in attendance at the State Capitol today as the governor delivered his address.
"I am encouraged by the resolve displayed by Governor Paterson today in facing and overcoming the dire financial crisis that now envelops . . .
