BRUSSELS, Belgium, Dec. 23 -- The European Union's European Council's Secretary General issued the following press release:
Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), has decided to appoint Mr Steven EVERTS as his Personal Representative for Energy and Foreign Policy.
In his new role, Mr EVERTS will act as a focal point for SG/HR Solana on the foreign policy aspects of energy security and climate change.
