AUGUSTA, Maine, Dec. 19 -- The Democratic majority in the Maine State Senate issued the following news release:
State Senator Peter Bowman (D-York) has been appointed as the Senate Chair of the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Insurance and Financial Services by Maine Senate President Libby Mitchell. Senator Bowman served as a member of that committee in his previous term.
