BILBAO, Spain, Dec. 23 -- Iberdrola issued the following news release:
IBERDROLA has prevented the emission of 5,300 tonnes of CO2 in 2008 thanks to its Green Footprint program. This initiative, under the framework of the Company's commitment to sustainable development, has enabled a reduction in carbon emissions equivalent to the domestic activities of some 4,500 families over one year.
Around 13,600 Spanish households participated in this pioneering IBERDROL . . .
