ATHENS, Ga., Dec. 5 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
A University of Georgia department of anthropology graduate student has won the American Anthropological Association's annual award for writing on anthropology and the environment. This is the second year in a row that a UGA anthropology student has taken this competitive award; only one graduate student in the nation receives the Roy A. Rappaport Prize each year.
