LONG BEACH, Calif., Dec. 18 -- California State University issued the following news release:
To begin meeting the goal of 20,000 new engineers for California's workforce in the next decade, the State of California announced the first apprenticeship program of Gov. Schwarzenegger's Engineering Initiative. The program, designed for veterans, will begin in 2009.
