SANTA FE, N.M., Dec. 17 -- The New Mexico Department of the Environment issued the following news release:
The New Mexico Environment Department issued an administrative compliance order with a penalty of $371,400 to Northwest New Mexico Regional Solid Waste Authority for 15 violations at the Red Rocks Regional Landfill in Thoreau.
The authority, which provides solid waste disposal for Gallup, Grants, Milan and surrounding communities in Cibola and McKinley counties . . .
