LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Dec. 19 -- Gwinnett County issued the following press release:
Gwinnett's Department of Water Resources took first place in a national plant operations and maintenance competition sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center shared the award with a plant in El Paso, Texas, when the awards were announced at the Water Environment Federation's annual technical conference in Chicago in October.
