PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Dec. 12 -- The city of Port St. Lucie issued the following news release:
At its regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 8, Port St. Lucie City Council authorized City Manager Donald Cooper to enter into a deed of conservation easement between the city and the South Florida Management District that will further the city's plans to build its Botanical Gardens. The easement will allow the 20-acre site to retain its natural state, thereby maintaining an environment . . .
