HATTIESBURG, Miss., Dec. 12 -- The University of Southern Mississippi issued the following news release:
Joshua Daniel Jackson of Natchez was one of two cadets commissioned on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 during ceremonies at The University of Southern Mississippi. Jackson was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the United States Army and was pinned by his parents, Danny Jackson of Natchez and Jeanette Jackson of Wiggins.
