WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- The office of Sen. Mel F. Martinez, R-Fla., issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today announced two staff changes. The senator has promoted Jessica Garcia from deputy press secretary to press secretary. Replacing Garcia as deputy press secretary is Erin Sayago.
