DELAND, Fla., Dec. 12 -- Volusia County issued the following news release:
The University of Florida/Volusia County Extension is presenting three classes to help homeowners get ready for spring gardening.
"Turf for the Cheap and Lazy" will be offered from 9 a.m. - noon Saturday, Jan. 10. The class is designed for homeowners who want to learn how to grow turf with minimal effort and expense. Speakers include Mark Garrett and Dwight Raymond from Kirkland Sod . . .
