ST. LOUIS, Nov. 18 -- The National Corn Growers Association issued the following news release:
At noon today in Washington, D.C., a news conference will launch yet another wave of attacks on corn and ethanol. It will be conducted by the same group that failed earlier in their efforts to reduce the renewable fuels standard and increase our country's dependence on foreign oil. They attempted to prove a link between corn ethanol production, world hunger, and increased food price . . .
