KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan, Dec. 5 -- The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces killed four insurgents in Nar Surkh district, Helmand province Dec. 4.
The combined forces were conducting a combat security patrol when they were attacked by militants from a wooded area using small-arms and machine-gun fire.
