KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan, Dec. 5 -- The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces killed 7 insurgents in the Nad Ali district, Helmand province Dec. 2.
The combined forces were conducting a combat reconnaissance patrol when they were engaged by militants from multiple fighting positions using small-arms, indirect and rocket fire.
