FORT BRAGG, N.C., Nov. 21 -- The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Special Operations Command announced today the names selected for the 2008 USASOC Medics of the Year.
Sgt. 1st Class Eric Strand, 3rd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), was chosen as the Special Forces medic. Spc. Rotha R. Dornes, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, was selected as the Special Operations combat medic.
