LUBBOCK, Texas, Dec. 5 -- Texas Tech University-Lubbock issued the following news release:
Texas Tech University's College of Education and South Plains College earned a Star Award for creating a partnership project in which they work together to produce top-notch educators. The award is given by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to partnering schools that create programs to ease the transition from junior colleges into four-year institutions.
