EVANSVILLE, Ind., Dec. 2 -- The city of Evansville issued the following press release:
The City of Evansville has been notified by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) that it intends to take over all air permitting, monitoring and compliance issues as of December 31, 2008. IDEM currently contracts with the Evansville Environmental Protection Agency (EEPA) to perform these functions in and around Evansville.
