CHICAGO, Oct. 7 -- The American Osteopathic Association issued the following news release:
As the U.S. economy continues to falter and unemployment rates rise, something as important as medical screenings becomes a luxury that many Americans cannot afford--despite the fact that early detection of many conditions increases the chances of preventing illness and staying healthy. A group of osteopathic physicians (D.O.s) will be helping to ease this burden by offering health screening . . .
