HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 4 -- The Connecticut Attorney General issued the following news release:
Attorney General Richard Blumenthal today said the federal government has rightfully rejected Plum Island as the site for a new National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) to study the world's deadliest incurable diseases.
Blumenthal also pledged to continue to fight to keep Plum Island open and operating, and its employment maintained.
