'Up the Down Staircase' to Play at Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, Fla., Oct. 24 -- Florida Institute of Technology issued the following news release:
The Florida Tech College Players' fall production is Up the Down Staircase, the comedy of 1960s life in an urban high school based on the best-selling novel by Bel Kaufman. Performances will be on Nov. 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 at 8 p.m. in the Gleason Performing Arts Center, on campus.
The plot revolves around Sylvia Barrett, a young idealistic high school English teacher . . .
