DES MOINES, Iowa, Oct. 17 -- The U.S. Mission to the United Nations Agencies issued the following news release:
When retired Democratic Senator George McGovern was growing up during the 1930s in a small town in South Dakota situated along railroad tracks, he saw hungry people.
