SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 22 -- California State University Sacramento issued the following press release:

Sacramento State linebackers Cyrus Mulitalo and Mike Brannon were each named to The Sports Network's Football Championship Subdivision Preseason All-America team, it was announced today. Mulitalo was one of four linebackers tabbed for the first team while Brannon was named to the third team. The Hornets were the only team in the FCS to be represented by two linebackers.
