CASTLE ROCK, Colo., Nov. 19 -- The Castle Rock Town Council issued the following news release:
Town Council voted Nov. 18 to provide $77,592 in funding to 21 local nonprofits that requested funding for 2009.
The annual appropriation to nonprofits is paid through the Philip S. Miller Trust Fund. Taxpayer dollars are not used. Philip S. Miller bequeathed a portion of the proceeds of his substantial estate to the Town, and the Town Council approves expenditures in keep . . .
