GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 24 -- The University of Florida issued the following news release:
Telephone counseling may be just as successful as face-to-face counseling in helping people maintain weight loss, report University of Florida researchers.
The UF study is the first to demonstrate the effectiveness of telephone counseling for long-term management of obesity in rural communities. The findings appear in today's (Nov. 24) issue of Archives of Internal Medicine.
