CARBONDALE, Ill., Jan. 2 -- Southern Illinois University issued the following news release:
Extended hours and better, brighter exterior lighting will debut in early 2008 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Student Recreation Center.
Due to student desires, the center will extend its hours Sunday through Thursday each week to 11:30 p.m., beginning Jan. 14. Previously a 10 p.m. closing time was in place. The center will be open Sunday 10 a.m. to 11:30 p . . .
