TEMPE, Ariz., March 25 -- Arizona State University issued the following press release:
The Sun Devil hurlers were nearly flawless on Tuesday night as they led the No. 1 ASU Softball team to two wins, 5-0 and 12-1 in five innings with Megan Elliott and Amanda Nesbitt leading the way. Jackie Vasquez and Caylyn Carlson also anchored the offense, both hitting .800 on the day with a combined seven runs scored and eight RBIs. The Sun Devils are now 36-2 overall while Marshall falls to 1 . . .
