DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 22 -- The University of Virginia issued the following news release:

Virginia volleyball seniors Shannon Davis (Austin, Texas) and Beth Shelton (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the Cavaliers' attack in the final road match of their careers, each landing nine kills, but it wasn't enough as the Duke Blue Devils swept the Cavaliers, 3-0 (24-26, 15-25, 21-25), Saturday evening at the Cameron Indoor Stadium.
