HARRISONBURG, Va., Oct. 28 -- James Madison University issued the following news release:
After clinching its first Colonial Athletic Association top seed since 1995, James Madison climbed from seventh to fifth in the most recent STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
The fifth-place ranking is the highest for JMU since a fourth-place spot on Sept. 16, 2002. JMU was ranked sixth two weeks ago before a 1-0 . . .
