DES MOINES, Iowa, May 16 -- Drake University issued the following news release:
Paul Cessna Vance, professor of education at Drake University from 1964 to 1985, died Wednesday, May 14, at the age of 83 of pulmonary disease and heart failure at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Even in his retirement Vance kept strong ties with his colleagues and the University for more than three decades.
