CLEMSON, S.C., Oct. 5 -- The University of Virginia issued the following news release:
The No. 11 Virginia women's soccer team matched the best ACC start in school history at 4-0-0 with a 7-1 victory over Clemson Sunday at Historic Riggs Field. Sinead Farrelly (Havertown, Pa.) scored a hat trick in the first half to the lead the Cavaliers, who improved to 10-1-1 overall.
