CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Oct. 16 -- The University of Virginia issued the following news release:
Sophomore Colleen Flanagan (Downingtown, Pa.) scored her first career goal in the 94th minute to lift No. 9 Virginia to a 3-2 overtime win at Maryland Thursday night at Ludwig Field. The win was the Cavaliers' school record fourth ACC road win of the season as they improve to 11-2-1 overall and 5-1-0 in the conference.
