FARMVILLE, Va., Nov. 9 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
The Longwood University men's soccer team dropped its final regular season game of the season on Sunday afternoon, falling to Atlantic Soccer Conference newcomer Houston Baptist 3-0 in Houston, Texas. The Lancers fall to 7-8-3 (2-2 ASC) on the season, while Houston Baptist improves to 10-6 (3-1 ASC). Longwood returns to home to host the 2008 ASC Tournament at the Athletics Complex, November 12-1 . . .
