WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Aug. 30 -- Norfolk State University issued the following news release:
The Norfolk State volleyball team dropped its last two games of the 2008 Wake Forest Deacon Invitational on Saturday, falling 3-0 to both Wake Forest (3-0) and Davidson (1-2) at Reynolds Gym. Wake Forest downed the Spartans 25-11, 25-8, 25-17 and Davidson won 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.
Against Wake Forest, freshman Breanna Allums (Channelview, Tex.) led all players with seven kill . . .
