NORFOLK, Va., Oct. 11 -- Norfolk State University issued the following news release:
Travil Jamison's 1-yard run late in the third quarter put South Carolina State ahead to stay, and Norfolk State came up empty twice in Bulldogs' territory in the fourth quarter as SCSU held on for a 24-23 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win on Saturday afternoon at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
