DOVER, Del., Nov. 7 -- Wilmington University issued the following news release:
Senator Thomas Carper made a special visit to Wilmington University's Dover site today, November 7, to announce an enhancement of the GI Bill known as the Post 9/11Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 or 'New GI Bill'. This new educational benefit program will go into affect in the fall of 2009 and will offer a more comprehensive set of benefits to veterans.
