RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 12 -- The University of Delaware sports department issued the following news release:
The University of Delaware women's soccer team lost for the seventh time in its last eight games on Sunday afternoon at Virginia Commonwealth as Laurel Pastor scored both Rams' goals to beat the Blue Hens 2-1 in overtime.
With the loss, Delaware fell to 4-8-1, 1-5 CAA, and VCU moved above .500 to 7-6-1, 4-1-1.
