SAVANNAH, Ga., Sept. 6 -- Savannah State University issued the following news release:
Freshman quarterback Kurvin Curry ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more to lead Savannah State to a 45-10 win over Livingstone in the 15th Annual Joseph Turner Classic.
The crowd of 2,157 at Memorial Stadium also witnessed the first win for SSU head coach Robby Wells.
The victory snapped a nine game losing streak for the Tigers. Ironically, the last SSU win . . .
