SAVANNAH, Ga., Nov. 1 -- Savannah State University issued the following news release:
Derek Williams kicked three field goals and Daniel Studdard scored two touchdowns to lead Savannah State to a 23-7 Homecoming victory over Concordia at Theodore A.Wright Stadium.
The crowd of 9,217 saw the Tigers take a 6-0 lead into the half as Williams kicked a 27-yard field goal with 5:19 left in the first quarter and added a 26-yarder with 8:44 left in the second quarter.
