MOSUL, Iraq, April 9 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
An Iraqi Police checkpoint was attacked by two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices, killing three IPs in Mosul, April 9.
Three IPs and 30 Iraqi citizens were also wounded from the explosions.
The wounded were taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
