BALAD, Iraq, April 14 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
Two al-Qeada in Iraq terrorists attacked an Abna al-Iraq, or Sons of Iraq, checkpoint near Balad April 14.
Acting in self-defense, the Sons of Iraq repelled the small arms fire and rocket propelled grenade attack, engaging and killing the two terrorists.
