VALLEY CITY, N.D., April 4 -- Valley City State University issued the following news release:
In their third straight day at home, the Vikings showed no sign of fatigue as pounded out 22 hits in two games and continued to play solid defense behind good pitching for a sweep of the UM-Morris Cougars by scores of 10-2 and 15-3.
In game one, the Vikings plated two runs in the first, second and fifth innings and put up a four in the bottom of the third for their ten run . . .
