VALLEY CITY, N.D., May 1 -- Valley City State University issued the following news release:
The Trojans struck first today, but it was the Vikings who struck bigger. After jumping out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning, the Vikings used a five run seventh inning to beat Dakota State in the opening round of the Dakota Athletic Conference 9-4.
