VALLEY CITY, N.D., Oct. 18 -- Valley City State University issued the following news release:
It had been the passing attack that powered the Viking offense most of the season, today VCSU rushed 35 times for 246 yards and one touchdown. AJ Pfeifer led a balanced running game with 99 yards, Andy Derlilus and Jordan Backstrom chipped in with 70 and 66 respectively. Derilus had the only running touchdown on the day.
Dakota State opened the scoring with a field goal but . . .
