JUNEAU, Alaska, Oct. 31 -- Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska, has issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, on November 11 Alaskans join in honoring and remembering those who have served in the armed forces of the United States and Canada for their unselfish contributions toward making our world a better place to live.
WHEREAS, America was founded on the principles of liberty, opportunity, and justice for all, and on Veterans Day we recognize our Soldiers, Sailors, Airme . . .
