KABUL, Afghanistan, Nov. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Combat Joint Task Force 82, Operation Enduring Freedom, issued the following news release:
A U.S. civilian shot and killed a local national in an altercation that took place in southern Afghanistan this morning.
Reports indicate the local national was shot after pouring and igniting a flammable liquid on another U.S. civilian.
