AURORA, Ill., Nov. 6 -- The City of Aurora released the following news release:
The city's Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board celebrates the memory of Peter J. Perez each year by recognizing a member of the community who exemplifies his leadership and commitment to the community.
The board is seeking nominations for the Peter J. Perez Award, which will be presented at the board's community breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 30 at Long Island Sound Banquets.
