TIKRIT, Iraq, May 30 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
For the past couple of years, the main mission for Coalition forces has been to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi population in order to better assist them in bringing peace and stability to their country.
