FARMVILLE, Va., Nov. 7 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
On Tuesday, November 11, Longwood University will host a Veterans Day program-From Combat to College and Beyond-the first of its kind in Longwood's history. Sponsored by the Longwood Student Veterans Group (LSV), the program will be held on campus from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Lankford Student Union ballroom, and will address many of the transitional issues facing veterans returning from combat . . .
